Nico von °red sun fx hat mir vor einigen Wochen einen modifizierten Line 6 Modulation Modeller geschickt. Zum MM4 selbst muss man wohl nicht viel sagen, ist er ja heute schon neben dem DL4 ein Kult-Pedal.
Neben den gängigen Modifikationen, das Poti und den Switch für das Expression-Pedal, wurde das Gehäuse komplett abgestrahlt und alle Switches und Poti-Knöpfe ersetzt. Der Clou ist die komplett schwarze Frontplatte mit neuen Beschriftungen. Neben der Umbenennung in "stun" & "kill" zeigt die Frontplatte endlich die Namen der emulierten Original-Pedale - für mich DAS Killer-Feature.
Ich mag die Konsequenz wie sich °red sun fx den Modulation Modeller zu eigen macht, somit ist es mehr als eine reine Modifikation des MM4 sondern ein wirkliches °red sun fx!

Nico from °red sun fx gave me the modded version of a Line 6 Modulation Modeller. About the MM4 itself I probably don't have to say much.
Besides the common modifications, the potentiometer and switch for the expression pedal, the case was completely radiated and all switches and knobs have been superseded. The highlight is the all-black front panel with new labels. In addition to the name change to "stun" & "kill" the front panel finally shows the real names of the original pedals emulated - for me, THE killer feature.
I like the consistency how °red sun fx makes the modulation modeler intrinsically, so it is more than a pure modification of a MM4 - more a real °red sun fx!
